What's with the cattitude and Take me to your chateau

Hello everybody!

Ik denk dat ik gek word. Ik heb de foto's een miljoen keer verkleind. Ik heb de foto's verkleind met photoshop, photobucket... Uiteindelijk heb ik ze verkleind naar 320 x 240, maar de foto's hieronder zijn groter dan dat... Ik weet echt niet hoe ik dit moet oplossen. Ik ga maar eens een andere site proberen om mijn foto's te uploaden, misschien helpt dat...

I am going crazy. I've resized the pictures a million times. I resized it using photoshop, using photobucket... I resized it to 320 x 240, but the pictures below are bigger than that! I seriously don't know how to fix this. I'm going to try another image hosting site, maybe that'll work...

Toen ik OPI's What's with the Cattitude ontving dacht ik meteen dat het een dupe zou zijn voor Color Club's Take me to your Chateau. Dus ik besloot om weer een kleine vergelijking te doen!

When I recieved OPI's What's with the Cattitude I thought it would be a dupe for Color Club's Take me to your Chateau. So I decided to do a little comparison!

Zoals je kunt zien, deze kleuren zijn absoluut geen dupes! De OPI is donkerder. Ik vind allebei de kleuren erg leuk. Wat vinden jullie?

En als iemand een oplossing weet voor mijn "fotoformaat" probleem, laat dan alsjeblieft een comment achter!

As you can see, these colours aren't dupes! The OPI one is darker. I like both colours! What do you think?
And if you have any advise for my "picture size" problem, please help me!

I believe in Amour VS. She's sooo Glam

Zoals ik al zei in mijn blogposts over deze lakjes... Ik dacht dat ze op elkaar leken dus ik besloot om een vergelijking te doen! Ik heb I believe in Amour op mijn nagels, en op de tips heb ik She's sooo Glam. Beide lakjes zijn van Color Club.

As I said in my posts about these polishes.. I thought they were similar so I decided to do a comparison! I'm wearing I believe in Amour on my nails, and on the tips I'm wearing She's soo glam. Both polishes are from Color Club.

In eerste instantie wilde ik dit alleen dragen als vergelijking en er daarna afhalen, maar ik vond het resultaat wel leuk dus ik heb besloten om het wat langer te laten zitten! Zoals jullie kunnen zien zijn deze lakjes geen dupes van elkaar, het zijn beide absoluut verschillende rozes!

Wat vinden jullie van zo'n soort combinatie?

At first I only wanted to do this for comparison, but I liked the result so I decided to wear it as a NOTD! As you can see the colours aren't dupes, both two different kinds of pink!

Battle of the crackles: Barry M and OPI

Hello everybody!

Hier is dan mijn vergelijking tussen de Barry M en de OPI crackle nagellak! Ik heb het niet zo netjes aangebracht op mijn wijsvinger, maar negeer dat alsjeblieft! :P

Wijs- en ringvinger: Barry M

Middelvinger en pink: OPI

Here it is, my comparison post between the crackles from OPI and Barry M! I messed up on my index finger, please ignore that!

Index and ring: Barry M
Middle and pinky: OPI

Je ziet meteen dat er een verschil tussen de 2 is. Ik heb ze op dezelfde manier aangebracht (het kwastje 'afvegen' aan één kant en dan de nagellak aanbrengen). De crackle van OPI is dunner, dus ik denk dat daarom de crackles kleiner zijn.

De crackle van Barry M irriteert me steeds meer en meer. Misschien is het gewoon mijn flesje, maar het is echt dik aan het worden. Ik heb de lak proberen te verdunnen, maar het hielp niet echt. Ik vind de grote crackles die hij geeft leuk, maar het feit dat de lak zo dik is irriteert me echt! Heeft iemand van jullie ook de Barry M Instant Nail Effects? Want ik ben benieuwd of ik gewoon een 'slecht flesje' heb, of dat het echt aan de formule van de lak ligt! Laat alsjeblieft een reactie achter bij de comments! :)

Welke vinden jullie leuker als je de foto's zo ziet?

Ik wil nog steeds de crackles van China Glaze hebben! Het liefst bestel ik CG op Transdesign, dus ik heb stiekem een mailtje gestuurd om te vragen wanneer ze back in stock zijn. Je bent hebberig/verslaafd of je bent het niet he! :P

You can see that there is a difference between them, I applied them the same way (wiping the polish of on one side of the brush and then apply it). The OPI one is thinner in consistency, so I think that's why the crackles are smaller.

The Barry M one is annoying me more and more. Maybe it's just my bottle, but it's really thick and groopy. I tried to use a thinner, but it didn't help much. I like the big cracks it gives, but the consistency just kills me. Are there any more Barry M instant effects owners here? Because I would love to know if I just have a bad bottle, or that it is the formula of the polish! Please let me know in the comments down below! :)

Which one is your favorate judging from the pictures?

I still want the crackles from China Glaze. I prefer to order CG from Transdesign, so I send them an email asking them when the polishes are going to be back in stock. You're greedy/addicted or not, right? :P

NOTD: China Glaze Sea Spray

Hello everybody!

Dit is Sea Spray van China Glaze. Ik heb twee laagjes op, en sorry voor de deuk in de nagel van mijn ringvinger! Ik stootte ergens tegenaan terwijl de lak nog niet helemaal droog was :(

Deze lak heeft wat verborgen shimmer in zich, maar het lukte me maar niet om dit zichtbaar te krijgen op de foto, maar geloof me, het zit er echt!

This is Sea Spray by China Glaze. I'm wearing two coats, and sorry for the bumb in the nail of my ringfinger! I bumped into something when the polish wasn't completely dry :(

This polish has some secret shimmer in it, which I couldn't get visable on the pictures, but trust me, it's there!

Toen ik Sea Spray op had gedaan, moest ik meteen denken aan een ander lakje uit mijn collectie. Kun jij verschil zien tussen de nagellak op het nagelwiel en de nagellak op mijn nagels? Ik kan dat in ieder geval niet... De nagellak op het nagelwiel is Rain Polish van Eyeko.

When I saw Sea Spray on my nails, it instantly reminded my off another polish. Can you see any difference between the polish on the wheel and the polish on my nails? I certainly can't... The polish on the wheel is Rain polish by Eyeko.

En een vergelijking met de flesjes in mijn hand. Voor zover ik kan zien zijn Sea Spray en Rain Polish dupes van elkaar. Ik vind de kleur nog steeds erg mooi! (Dat is waarschijnlijk ook de reden waarom ik eigenlijk twee dezelfde kleurtjes heb gekocht haha..!)

And a comparison with the bottles in my hand. To me, Sea Spray and Rain polish are dupes. I still like the colour though! (That's probably why I bought two of the same haha..!)

Comparison: Ahoy! and Strawberry Fields

En hier is dan mijn beloofde vergelijkingspost! Op mijn pink en middelvinger heb ik twee laagjes Strawberry Fields en op mijn ring en wijsvinger heb ik twee laagjes Ahoy! op.

And here it is, my comparison post! On my pinky and middlefinger I'm wearing two coats of Strawberry Fields and on my ring and index I'm wearing two coats of Ahoy!

Zoals jullie kunnen zien, is Strawberry Fields het lichtere zusje van Ahoy! Ook is de gouden shimmer beter zichtbaar in Strawberry Fields.

As you can see, Strawberry Fields is the lighter sister of Ahoy! Also the golden shimmer is more visable in Strawberry fields.

Er zat geen verschil in de applicatie. Deze lakjes zijn vergelijkbaar, maar zeker geen dupes van elkaar.

There was no difference in application. These polishes are similar, but certainly not dupes.

En er viel me iets op, wat waarschijnlijk totaal oninteressant is haha... Maar China Glaze heeft nu een ander label op hun nagellakjes zitten! :P

NOTD: Nfu.Oh 116

Hello everybody!

Nog een swatch van een Nfu.Oh lakje! Dit is nummer 116 en ik draag drie laagjes.

Another swatch from a Nfu.Oh polish! This is number 116 and I'm wearing three coats.

Het is een heel mooi paars lakje met blauwachtige shimmer op bepaalde momenten. Maar... ik vond de applicatie verschrikkelijk. Ik weet niet of het aan mij lag, of aan het lakje... Maar zoals jullie kunnen zien in de foto's, is de nagellak een beetje "meegesleept" bij mijn nagelriemen toen ik het tweede en het derde laagje aanbracht. Ik vind de kleur nog steeds heel erg mooi, maar de applicatie irriteerde me echt.

En dit lakje deed me denken aan een ander lakje...

It's a very pretty purple colour which flashes blue-ish shimmer from time to time. But... I hated the application. I don't know if it was my fault, or the polish its fault... But as you can see in the pictures, it dragged around the cuticles when I applied the second and the third coat. I still love the colour, but the application just annoyed me.

And it reminded me of another polish...

Op al mijn nagels heb ik Nfu.Oh 116 op. Op het nagelwiel is de linker nagellak Barry M Vivid Purple, en de rechter nagellak is Nfu.Oh 116. Ze lijken veel op elkaar toch?

On all my nails I am wearing Nfu.Oh 116. On the nailwheel, the polish on the left is Barry M Vivid purple and the polish on the right is Nfu.Oh 116. Pretty similar right?

Het enige verschil wat ik kan ontdekken tussen deze lakjes is de ondertoon. De Nfu.Oh heeft een rood/paarsige ondertoon en de Barry M heeft een paarse ondertoon. Ik vind de applicatie van Barry M fijner!

Mijn NOTD, die overigens van hele slechte kwaliteit is, van Vivid Purple kan je hier bekijken.

To me, the only difference between these polishes is the undertone. The Nfu.Oh has a redish/purple undertone, where the Barry M has a purple untertone. I prefer the application of the Barry M one.

Essence glitter and Catrice matte

Hello everybody!

Sorry that I've been gone, I'm getting sick so I'm not really into pianting my nails and stuff at the moment... But here's a comparison with the Essence Glitter topcoat, regular polish, and the Catrice matte topcoat.

The glitter is nothing special, it doesn't really sparkle, but it gave a nice "starry night" effect to the black polish.

In the middle is the regular polish with nothing on it, and on the right is the polish with the matte topcoat over it. This is my first matte topcoat ever, and I like the result! How do you like it?

And a side note about my yesstyle order:

It's shipped with DHL, they came yesterday at 11:13AM. I was at school at the time and nobody was home. They don't deliver on saturdays, and during the week I'm really busy with school so I'm afraid the delivery man will come when I'm not at home... :( Send some positive thoughts my way so I'll get my order on monday? ;)

Nfu.Oh comparison

Hello everybody! :)

Today I have a comparison for you! I swatched four of my Nfu.Oh colours on my swatchwheel. On the left you can see the colour with three coats, and on the right you can see 2 coats of black polish and one coat of the Nfu.Oh colour!

51:

Slightly darker purple in real life. As you can see, the colour really changes with black polish underneath. From a purple kind off colour, to a redish colour.


52:

There's is more green on the right side in real life, depending on the lighting. But it really changed from blue to green!

54: (Yes, this one is reversed.. so the left side has the black polish underneath)

This polish has a clear base so you can't really see a lot of it without a colour underneath. I think this one looks very pretty with the black polish!

60: (reversed too)

Basically it's the same. Only without the black polish, it's a litte more sheer and dull. I like it better when it's layered over black.
