NOTD: Stamping fail?

Hello everybody!

De NOTD van vandaag is moeilijk om te zien :( sorry! Misschien is het beter te zien als je op de foto klikt.

Today's NOTD is kind of hard to see :( Sorry! Maybe you can see it better if you click on the picture.

Yep, nog steeds Pelican Gray van China Glaze, maar ik heb er wat plaatjes op gestempeld! Ik heb Bright Pink van Barry M gebruikt, maar ik denk niet dat deze lak geschikt is voor stempelen.. Het is te licht. Maar ik vind deze NOTD nog steeds leuk! :) Subtiel maar toch nog een beetje schattig ^^

Yes, still pelican gray from China Glaze, but I stamped some images on it! I used Barry M Bright pink, but I don't think that's a good polish for stamping... It's too light. But I still like this manicure! :) Subtle but cute ^^

Dit is de imageplate die ik gebruikt heb, ik heb de 4 wezentjes gebruikt op de zijkant. Ik vind stempelen leuk. Maar zoals je kunt zien, ben ik er nog niet heel goed in. Ik heb geen special konad nagellakjes in mijn bezit, dus ik had gewoon Bright Pink gekozen en ik hoopte dat het zou werken... Maar dat deed het niet echt. Ik hoop dat jullie het nog steeds leuk vinden! :)

This is the imageplate I used, I used the 4 creatures on the side. I like the idea of stamping. But as you can see, I'm not that great at it. I don't have any special konad polishes, so I just chose this colour and I hoped it would work... But it didn't as much. I hope you still like it! :)

NOTD: Hello Kitty!

Hello everybody!

Ik vind Hello Kitty leuk. Ik vind roze leuk. Dus ik heb besloten om deze twee te combineren met behulp van één van mijn nieuwe imageplates! De basiskleur die ik heb gebruikt is Bright Pink van Barry M. Ik heb Alpine Snow van OPI gebruikt om te stempelen. Dit is pas de tweede keer dat ik stempel, dus het is nog niet perfect.

I like Hello Kitty. I like pink. So with my new imageplate I decided to combine the two of them! Haha. The base colour is Bright Pink by Barry M. I used Alpine Snow by OPI to stamp. This is only my second time stamping, so it isn't perfect.

Schattig toch? Ik vind het echt leuk! (Ja, ik zei toch dat ik kinderachtig was..? :p)

BornPrettyStore Haul

Hello everybody!

Ik heb wat dingetjes besteld bij BornPrettyStore! Ik heb eerder bij hen besteld op eBay, maar deze keer heb ik vanaf hun eigen site besteld :) Kijk mee naar wat ik allemaal besteld heb!

I ordered some stuff from BornPrettyStore! I ordered from them before on eBay, but this time I used their own site :) Read on to see what I ordered!

Rhinestones in hartjes vorm. Schattig he? :D Ik zit eraan te denken om een Valentijnsdag nagellook te doen, maar ik heb op dit moment nog niet echt een idee... Maar dit kan ik daar goed voor gebruiken!

Heart shaped rhinestones. Aren't they cute? :D I'm thinking about doing a Valentine inspired nail, although I don't have an idea at this moment... But this might come in handy!

Dotting tools in verschillende groottes. Tot nu toe had ik alleen maar één dotting tool welke vrij klein was, en ik wilde een paar grotere.

French Manicure image plates. Mijn foto's zijn niet echt duidelijk omdat de plates net spiegels zijn. Dus als je de plates wat beter wil bekijken, kijk dan even op de foto's van de site! :)

Het duurde ongeveer 1,5 week voordat mijn bestelling binnen kwam. Dat is best redelijk voor internationale verzending. Het was in een gewone bubbel-envelop verpakt. En het beste: geen verzendkosten!

My order arrived in around 1,5 weeks which is quite good for international shipping. It was packaged in a simple bubble envoloppe. And the best thing is: there were no shipping costs!

NOTD: First stamping experience

Hello everybody! :)


This is my first stamping experience! I was at the Kruidvat again, and I saw a Essence stamping set. I always wanted to try Konad, but was too lazy to buy it online, so I couldn't resist this set when I saw it ;)

What I used:

The stamping set, which came with an imageplate, a stamper and a scraper
China Glaze - Re-fresh mint
China Glaze - Sugar High


For a first try I think it's okay. They didn't come off perfectly, and I applied topcoat too fast so I have a little bit of smearing.. But oh well!
