Nubar: Yellow Primrose

Hello everybody!

Voordat mijn computer overleed, had ik nog steeds iets wat ik jullie moest laten zien! Ik was nog niet klaar met de Spring Garden collectie van Nubar!

Before my computer died, I still had something to show you! I wasn't finished with the Spring Garden collection of Nubar yet!

Dit is Yellow Primrose en ik draag drie laagjes. Ik heb deze nagellak opgedaan in de avond, dus er zitten wat "bedmarks" in deze manicure, sorry!

This is Yellow Primrose and I'm wearing three coats. I did this manicure in the evening, so there are some "bedmarks" on my manicure, sorry!

Het is een mooi lichtgeel kleurtje. Dit kleurtje doet mij echt denken aan de lente!

It's a pretty, light yellow colour. Really reminds me of spring!

En met Dewdrop eroverheen. Bijna niet zichtbaar op de foto, maar mooi in het echt. Ik denk dat ik alle kleuren uit deze collectie mooier vind met Dewdrop! Wat denken jullie?

Nubar: White Peony

Hello everybody!

Dit is White Peony van Nubar. Dit lakje maakt ook deel uit van de Spring Garden collectie, en ik draag drie laagjes.

This is White Peony from Nubar. This polish is also part of the Spring Garden collection. I'm wearing three coats.

Het lakje lijkt te wit op de eerste foto, dus ik heb een tweede foto toegevoegd waar de kleur beter overkomt. Dit lakje is namelijk geen echte witte kleur, meer een soort off-white.

It looks too white in the first picture, so I added a second picture which comes closer to the actual colour. Because this polish isn't a true white colour, it's more off-white.

En twee foto's van White Peony samen met één laagje van Dewdrop. Omdat White Peony zo'n licht kleurtje is, is het wat moeilijker om de glitter te zien, maar het zit er echt!

Wat vinden jullie van dit lakje? Te licht of te simpel? Ik vind het lakje eigenlijk veel mooier dan ik had verwacht, zeker in combinatie met Dewdrop!

Also two pictures of White Peony together with one coat of Dewdrop. Because White Peony is such a light colour, it's more difficult to see the glitter, but it's definitely there!

How do you like this colour? Too light or too simple, or pretty? I actually liked it more than I thought I would! Especially with Dewdrop on top!

Nubar: Purple Aster

Hello everybody!

Hier ben ik weer met een nail of the day! Dit is Purple Aster van Nubar en ik draag drie laagjes. Dit lakje komt uit de Spring Garden collectie.

Here I am again with a nail of the day! This is Purple Aster from Nubar and I'm wearing three coats. This polish is part of the Spring Garden collection.

Dit lakje heeft ook de secret shimmer erin, maar de laatste tijd regent het hier zoveel, dat ik helemaal geen foto's kan maken in direct zonlicht :(. Dus de shimmer is onmogelijk voor mij om vast te leggen. De shimmer is in real life ook erg moeilijk om te zien.

This polish also has the secret shimmer in it, but lately it has been raining a lot around here, so I can't take any pictures in direct sunlight :( So the shimmer is impossible for me to capture, but it's hard to see in real life as well.

En met een laagje Dewdrop eroverheen. Ik vind het lakje samen met Dewdrop echt leuk, maar ik vind glitter sowieso leuk. Het is wat lastiger om eraf te halen, maar zo leuk om naar te kijken!

And with one coat of Dewdrop on top. I really like the addition of dewdrop, but I like glitter anyway. A bit harder to remove, but so much fun to look at!

Nubar: Blue Hydrangea

Hello everybody!

Dit is Blue Hydrangea van Nubar en ik draag twee laagjes. Dit is een heel mooi lichtblauw kleurtje. Herinneren jullie mij obsessie met blauwe lakjes nog? Deze zou zomaar terug kunnen komen...

This is Blue Hydrangea from Nubar and I'm wearing two coats. This is a very pretty light blue colour. Do you remember my obsession with blue polishes? It might just start again...

Met één laagje van Dewdrop eroverheen. Het was best moeilijk om de glitter goed over te brengen op de foto's, maar ik heb mijn best gedaan!

With one coat of dewdrop on top. It was hard to make the glitter show up on the pictures, I did the best I could!

In het echt is de glitter opvallender. Ik weet het, foto's zouden je een accuraat beeld moeten geven over hoe het lakje eruit ziet. Maar soms is het gewoon zo moeilijk! Jullie moeten mij nu maar gewoon op mijn woord geloven ;)

In real life the glitter is more noticable. I know, pictures should give you an accurate view on how the polish looks. But sometimes it's so hard! You just have to believe me on my word now ;)

Nubar: Honeysuckle

Hello everybody!

Dit is Honeysuckle van Nubar. Dit lakje komt uit de Spring Garden collectie en ik draag twee laagjes.

This is Honeysuckle from Nubar. This polish is part of the Spring Garden collection and I'm wearing two coats.

Ik vind deze kleur echt heel erg leuk. Maar ja, ik vind alles wat roze is wel leuk! Dit lakje is een echt crème lakje, dus geen secret shimmer. Ik heb ook over dit lakje Dewdrop gedragen:

I really like this colour. But of course, I'm a sucker for pinks. This polish is a true creme, so no hidden shimmers. I also put Dewdrop on top:

Mooi he? :D Serieus, ik vind deze combinatie zo leuk! Wederom is het mooier in het echt, maar op de foto's krijg je een goed idee van hoe mooi het is ;).

Ik was dit vergeten te zeggen in de vorige post, maar in deze foto's (en de vorige) heb ik één laagje Dewdrop over de lakken aangebracht.

Wat vinden jullie van dit kleurtje? Vinden jullie deze mooier met of zonder Dewdrop?

Nubar: Baby Sprout

Hello everybody!

Dit is "Baby Sprout" van Nubar en ik draag drie laagjes. Het is een heel licht groen kleurtje. Ik heb niet zoveel groene lakjes in mijn bezit, maar ik begin het steeds leuker te vinden!

This is "Baby Sprout" from Nubar and I'm wearing three coats. It's a very light green colour. I don't own many green polishes, but I'm starting to like it more and more!

Baby Sprout met Dewdrop eroverheen. Ik ben helemaal vergeten om Dewdrop te combineren met Pink Lily en Earthen! Misschien laat ik die twee later nog zien! Maar om het nu met jullie goed te maken, een extra foto van Baby Sprout met Dewdrop:

Mooi he? In het echt is het nog mooier, de glitter was erg moeilijk om vast te leggen!

Nubar: Earthen

Hello everybody!

Dit is het tweede lakje uit de Nubar Spring Garden collectie! Dit is Earthern en ik draag drie laagjes.

Het is een heel mooi grijs kleurtje. Dit lakje heeft ook de secret shimmer erin verwerkt. Maar toen ik dit lakje op deed, kwam het mij zo bekend voor...

This is the second polish from the Nubar Spring Garden collection! This is Earthern and I'm wearing three coats.

It's a very nice grey colour. Again, this polish also has the secret shimmer in it. But, when I applied this colour, it looked so familiar...

Nubar Earthen naast OPI Skull & Glossbones. Ze lijken hetzelfde toch? Het enige verschil wat ik kan zien is dat de OPI een echt creme lakje is, terwijl de Nubar dat niet is.

Nubar: Pink Lily

Hello everybody!

Klaar met de OPI's, nu is het tijd voor de Nubar Spring Garden collectie! Dit is Pink Lily en ik draag drie laagjes.

Done with the OPI's, now it's time for the Nubar Spring Garden collection! This is Pink Lily and I'm wearing three coats.

Ik vind dit echt een leuk kleurtje! Past erg goed bij lente- en zomerweer :) Het lijkt een creme lakje, maar er zit wat secret shimmer in. Maar het is zo secret, dat het voor mij meer een gewoon creme lakje lijkt.

I really like this colour! Very suitable for spring and summer weather :) It looks like a creme, but it has some secret shimmer in it. But it's so secret, that it's more like a true creme to me.

Nubar: Spring Garden Collection

Hello everybody!

Ja, ik heb weer wat lakjes besteld en ontvangen! Ik heb deze gekocht op eBay. Eerst wilde ik deze collectie niet kopen, maar nadat ik Laura's (van NailsbyLaura) shoplogje had gezien waar ze in voor kwamen, kon ik mij niet meer inhouden!

Yes, I ordered and received some polishes again! I bought these polishes from eBay. At first I didn't want to buy this collection, but after seeing it in Laura's (from NailsbyLaura) haul, I couldn't resist anymore!

Dit is Gem van Nubar en ik draag 3 laagjes.

This is Gem by Nubar and I'm wearing 3 coats.

Ik weet dat ik deze al een keer eerder heb laten zien, maar ik vind deze foto's van een betere kwaliteit waardoor ik het gerechtvaardigd vind! Haha. Stiekem vind ik het gewoon een hele mooie kleur!

I know I have showed you this one before, but I think these pictures are of better quality so my re-posting is justified! Haha. No, secretly I just think this is a very pretty polish!

Ik vind holografische lakjes echt geweldig. Deze heeft meer een "grof" holo-effect, dat geeft het meteen een heel andere look dan bijvoorbeeld de OMG-lakjes van China Glaze. Hoe vinden jullie holografische lakjes?

I really like holographic nailpolishes. This one has more of a shattered effect, which instantly gives you an whole other look than, for instance, the OMG collection from China Glaze. What do you think about holographic polishes?

NOTD: Nubar Verde

Hello everyone!

This is Nubar's Verde. This one's also part of the Venetian Glass collection. I'm wearing two coats.

It's a very dark green shade with gold shimmer/undertones. You can't really see the gold shimmer on the nail, but with clean-up I noticed that it's definitely there. You can see some gold around my cuticles right?

And sorry for the red spots on my fingers!

NOTD: Nubar Vino

Hello everybody!

This is Nubar's Vino. I'm wearing two coats.

It's a pretty red-brownish colour. Sometimes it seems kind of duochrome to me, because it flashes pink. In low lightning the colour looks more purple than red.

Normally I don't really like to wear reds, but I like this one! Vino is part of the Venetian Glass collection.

NOTD: Nubar Absolute

Hello everybody!

This is Nubar's Absolute. It's part of the Prism collection. It's a gorgeous blue holographic colour! I'm wearing three coats. This is a thin polish, in some lightning you could still see my nail line.

Here's a picture with flash, because it wasn't really sunny when I took the pictures. As you can see the holographic effect is minimum. And sorry for the glitter stuck to my cuticles from sky sparkle :P

I really love holographic polishes. Although this one isn't over the top holo, I still like it. The shade of blue is very pretty and the subtle holo is nice to see ^^

And not nail polish related.. But I saw my cat in the bath tub and I was wondering to myself, "is this normal?" :P haha

NOTD: Nubar Sky Sparkle

Hello everybody!

This is Nubar's Sky Sparkle. It's a light blue glitter in a clear base. And because it has a clear base.. I used 4 coats. After 4 coats it still wasn't perfectly opaque, but that was hardly noticable. I used Seche Vite as my topcoat, 'cause it's a bit thicker so my mani felt nice & smooth after it :P

Because of the many coats I used, application was kind off tricky for me. It's not really as perfect as I want too, but it's okay.

If you don't like to put on a lot of layers, I suggest layering this polish over another polish, maybe a light blue?
