Problems with my layout *updated*

Hello everybody,

I made a new layout, imported it... And everything went gone. I couldn't add more posts, couldn't see anything, so I changed it back to a standard Blogger-Template untill I sort the issue!

That's all :p

Most problems are fixed now! But... There's a new problem, now I have two comment systems?! I tried to add Intense Debate, and it worked... But the Blogger one is still visable. Please ignore it, I'm trying to search for a solution! On monday I'm going to contact Intense Debate, hopefully they can and will help me! (Apperantly you can't contact them in the weekend)

Too many doubts

Hello everybody!

Ben weer eens een tijdje weggeweest, komt natuurlijk ook omdat ik een tijdje zonder laptop zat! Inmiddels heb ik weer een nieuwe laptop en ben ik weer online :P.

Maar toch weet ik niet zo goed wat ik moet posten. Ik weet eigenlijk niet zo goed waar ik heen wil met deze blog, vandaar dat ik weer eens afwezig was. Ik twijfel best veel over deze blog, zo twijfel ik nog steeds of ik hem tweetalig wil houden, of dat ik volledig ga overstappen op het Nederlands of op het Engels. Ook twijfel ik of ik wat meer 'persoonlijke' dingen zal posten. Soms heb ik dingen in mijn hoofd, bijvoorbeeld een mening over iets, en dan ben ik benieuwd naar wat 'de rest van de wereld' ervan vindt, of ik de enige ben die zo denkt. Tot nu toe heb ik dat hier nooit opgezet, omdat ik het niet bij 'het doel' vond passen. Maar aan de andere kant vind ik alleen maar nagellak e.d. posten ook weer een beetje saai. Maar wat als mijn andere soorten posts helemaal niet aanslaan?
Omdat ik dus waarschijnlijk weer eens veel te veel aan het nadenken ben over dit soort dingen, blijft het vooral stil op deze blog. Ook heb ik het druk met school en werk, dus ik heb niet altijd tijd om (mooie) foto's te maken. De dagen worden weer korter, dus foto's in zonlicht worden steeds moeilijker te combineren met school en werk. Mede hierom dacht ik eraan om meer persoonlijke stukjes te schrijven, dan is er wat meer afwisseling, en met meer afwisseling zijn er dus ook meer posts... :P

Tja, ik ben en blijf een denker...!
Op dit moment neig ik er meer naar om de blog volledig in het Nederlands te doen trouwens. Laat vooral jullie mening horen!

And I've been gone again, this also had something to do with my broken laptop of course! I bought a new laptop, so I'm completely back online :)

But still, I'm not really sure what I want to write. I'm not really sure where I want to go with this blog. I have a lot of doubts, for example I'm not sure if I want to keep this blog with two languages. I'm thinking more and more about changing it into one language, Dutch or English. Also I'm thinking about posting more 'personal' posts. Sometimes I have things on my mind, opinions... And I wonder if I'm the only person who thinks like that. Up until now I never posted something like that on here, because it isn't beauty related. But on the other hand, only posting things like nailpolish is a bit boring. But what if the more personal posts don't get liked at all?

I'm probably overthinking this, so it stays quiet here. I'm also busy with school and work, the days are getting shorter again so it's difficult for me to make pictures in actual sunlight. Also because of that, I started doubting. If I add more personal blogs, there will be more variation And with more variation there's more posts... :P

Oh well, I am and always will be a thinker..!
At this moment I'm thinking more about changing it completely into a Dutch blog. If there are international followers, they can use Google Translate. But I'm still not sure what to do... Please tell me your opinions!!

Hello everybody!

Ik weet dat veel bezoekers ook een eigen (beauty) blog hebben, en naar mijn mening verdient elke bezoeker van mij ook dat ik hun blog bekijk! ;) (Kromme zin, ik weet het). Dus heb je een blog en vind je dat ik die moet bekijken? Laat dan een comment achter! :)

Small changes...

Hello everybody!

OMG nog een blogpost? Waarom verveel je ons met al deze posts?

Nou, ik wilde jullie even laten weten dat ik wat kleine veranderingen op mijn blog heb gemaakt zoals jullie kunnen zien! Maar, terwijl ik bezig was met het veranderen van de layout en alles, waren er een paar minuten waarin Intense Debate even niet meer op mijn blog was. In deze tijd waren er comments gemaakt met het blogger-systeem, dus zodra ik Intense Debate weer op mijn blog had gezet, zag ik dat er een paar oude comments miste. Sorry! Ik kan de comments nog steeds zien op de Intense Debate website, dus ze zijn niet verwijderd, ze staan alleen niet meer op mijn blog!

Ik heb ook de Nederlandse versie van de "about me" pagina's online gezet. Een Engelse volgt later!

En nogmaals, bedankt voor het kijken, ik waardeer het echt! :D

OMG another blogpost? Why are you annoying us with these posts?

Well, I wanted to let you know that I did some small changes to my blog as you can see. But, when I was busy with changing the layout and everything, there were these few minutes that Intense Debate wasn't on my blog anymore. In these few minutes there were comments made with the blogger-system, so when I put Intense Debate back up, there were some comments missing. Sorry! I can still see these comments on the Intense Debate website, so they aren't gone, just not on my blog anymore!

Also I added the Dutch page of "about me". I will make an English one as soon as possible!

I want to improve...

Hello everybody!

Mijn blog bestaat toch al meer dan een halfjaar, en hoewel ik niet altijd even actief bezig ben geweest, heb ik toch elke maand heel wat gepost. Maar toch groeit mijn blog niet echt. Ik krijg af en toe een follower erbij en dan spring ik een gat in de lucht! :D Maar mijn viewcount blijft de laatste tijd de hele tijd hangen. Ik wil graag groeien, dus ik vraag mij af, hebben jullie misschien tips voor mij? Of doe ik iets in mijn posts wat je stiekem irriteert? Of is er iets wat een echt verbeterpunt is in jullie ogen? Ik hoor het graag, want ik wil graag verbeteren! :)

My blog excist for more than 6 months now, I wasn't always very active, but still, I posted a decent amound of posts every month. But still, my blog isn't really growing. Once in a while I will get a new follower and that makes me really happy! :D But my viewcount is staying very stable lately. I really want to grow, so I wonder, do you have any advice for me? Or am I doing something in my posts what secretly annoys you? What can I do to improve my blog? I'd really like to hear from you, 'cause I really want to improve! :)

Ik denk dat het me gelukt is! Ik wilde Intense Debate "installeren" op mijn blog. Ik wil het even proberen om te kijken of ik het prettiger vindt werken dan het normale commenting systeem. Laat alsjeblieft een reactie achter, zodat ik kan zien of het echt helemaal goed werkt ^^ Ook wil ik natuurlijk graag weten wat jullie van dit commenting systeem vinden!

Snel vraagje: is het "followers"vakje bij jullie ook leeg? Ik zie er namelijk helemaal niets in. Ik heb al gezocht op google, maar ik kon alleen maar oplossingen vinden voor WordPress, en ik gebruik dus blogspot, en echt goed met html ben ik ook niet... :(

I think it worked! I tried to install Intense Debate on my Blog. I wanted to try it out to see if I like it better than the regular commenting system. Please leave a comment, so I can see if it really works ^^ Also I would like to know what you think about this commenting system!

And a quick question: Is the "followers" box empty? I don't see anything in it at all. I already searched on google for a solution, but I could only find a solution for WordPress, and I'm using blogspot, and I'm not really good with html... :(

I need your help!

Hello everybody!

Lately there have been multiple people asking me why I don't write my blogposts in Dutch. It got me thinking...

According to my statistics from the beginning up until now, the top 5 countries are:

1. The Netherlands

2. USA

3. Belgium

4. Brazil

5. France

So most of my visitors are Dutch or speak Dutch (Netherlands, Belgium). When I started this blog I wanted it to be international, and I still want it to be. Also, I like to write in English because it comes natural to me. It may not be perfect, but most of the time I think in crappy English in stead of Dutch.. haha

But since there were multiple people asking me about it, I thought, maybe I can do both? So I will write my blogpost in English and Dutch. I've seen it on some other blogs so I know it can work!

But what do you think? You are my audience, so what you think is really important to me! :) Keep it like this, or do it both? Maybe just do both for a while to see how people will react to it?
